Jo’s Portable Art Department

Jo’s Portable Art Department

Jo’s Portable Art Department is a community company for children and their grown ups, set up by Jo and friends in 2017. They received Arts Council Funding to develop their puppet show set in a rock pool in 2019. The show Stinky McFish And The World’s Worse Wish (co-written with Joseph Nixon) is touring in 203/2024 and is currently available for bookings. Stinky McFish And The World’s Worse Wish can be adapted to suit unusual venues such as libraries, village halls and gigantic rock stadiums, budget permitting.

Jo has appeared on TV in shows for children and young people including CBBC’s Young Dracula, E4’s Skins, CBBC’s So Awkward, a comedy Christmas science show with Howard Read, Bec Hill and Tiernan Douieb at The Bloomsbury Theatre and live comedy performances with Comedy 4 Kids.
