Premiered at Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2011.
This was a show where Jo told the story of a community with not much, by playing thirteen Cornish children and grown ups*. The idea of the show started out as Jo trying stand up. It was co-written with Joseph Nixon with an original song by Jo Neary, Sam Dixon and Pad Mclean. Posh reviewers and a BBC commissioner thought the show was about the 1980s. It wasn’t, it was about growing up in an an area below the EU poverty line. Chortle wrote a review which you can read here
